  • can you tell me when you may be having the CPO course in the san francisco bay area?

    • Hi Vickie,
At this time we have scheduled CPO courses in Clovis on September 30 to October 2 and in Sacramento on December 2 to December 4. However, if you know of several others in your area who would also like to take the CPO course (We would need at least 10 students to hold a class) we can schedule a class in a location of your choosing. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at (916) 922-8895 or by e-mail at info@fpsie.org.

  • Is there still going to be a CPO course held December 2-4? I noticed that the online registration is not active. When will the course be open for registration?

    • Hello,

I apologize for the delay. Yes, we will be conducting a CPO course December 2-4. We are having trouble loading it to our website but our IT Administrator is working on it. If you’d like to register, please call the office at (916) 922-8895 and we can take your registration over the phone.

  • I am a licensed contractor with 33 years in the pool industry. I am an expert at installing variable speed pumps and setting them up to guidelines established for energy conservation. When will a CPO course be taught in Orange County so I can start receiving my contractor rebates again?

  • Do you have another class in Sacramento after the 22 -24 March class?

    • Hi James,

We are working on our schedule and have not set another date yet. I believe that we will have another one the 1st or 2nd week of May. I will add you to our CPO follow-up list and email you as soon as we’ve set the date.

      Thank you for inquiring.

  • Hi,

Do you have another CPO class planned in Sacramento before the December class? Within the next few months?

    • Hi Hoa,
Yes, we are in the process of planning several CPO courses before December. In the meantime, we can help you get started on obtaining your certification. Please contact us at (916) 922-8895 and we can give you more details regarding the options available to obtain your CPO certification.

  • Thank you for this information. Getting more pool service employees trained properly will help make sure the public is safer with their pools.
