How to Begin a Career Path in Aquatics

As active members in the Pool and Hot Tub industry in California, our Industry struggles to find qualified workers to take on important and necessary jobs in Aquatics Business.  With the largest number of pools of any state in the US, the industry is responsible for public safety, including, service and maintenance, building, design, equipment sales, inspection, managing public facilities, and much more.  It is imperative that the industry attracts, educates, and continues to develop a new workforce in the “aging out” Aquatic’s industry.

The California Pool & Spa Association (CPSA) and the Foundation for Pool & Spa Industry Education (FPSIE) are committed to career path workforce development.  We know that more and more young adults graduating from high school choose not to attend college and are looking for their next path in life. We also know that transitioning from active duty to civilian life for those that have served our country can be difficult.  CPSA and FPSIE want to be a part of the journey and success for both.

We are hosting a course August 19-23, 2019 that would allow them to begin a career path in aquatics.  Please click on the flyer as the course includes:
